Walker and Walker
Joe Walker and Pat Walker started collaborating as artists in 1989. In 2005 they co-represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale. They have exhibited widely nationally and internationally. ‘Mount Analogue Revisited’ was selected by Fergus Daly in Senses of Cinema as one of the best films seen in 2010.
“Super 8” is an international video exhibition featuring the work of forty contemporary artists at the Christopher Grimes Gallery in Los Angeles. Each week of Super 8 will focus on a different city. Walker and Walker have been invited along with seven other artists to curate a week of programming with fellow artists from their respective cities. The cities featured are Lisbon, San Francisco, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, London, Los Angeles, Berlin and Dublin.
