BIORHYTHM: music and the body

BIORHYTHM: music and the body

Science Gallery

Science Gallery is a world first – a new, dynamic social space at the heart of Dublin city – where science and art collide in creative clashes. Opened in 2008, over 750,000 people have visited sixteen exhibitions, hundreds of events and public experiments at the gallery. Science Gallery is an initiative of Trinity College Dublin.

BIORHYTHM: music and the body

What makes you dance? Why does a minor chord sound sad? Is there a formula for the perfect hit? BIORHYTHM, an interactive exhibition produced by Dublin’s Science Gallery, will explore all of these questions and more in an interactive bonanza of unique sonic experiences. Opening at Eyebeam on June 2nd, the exhibition, part of the World Science Festival, will feature exhibits ranging from a sonic bed to musical instruments that respond to your heartbeat.
